This guide walks you through launching your first website on DaphiHost. You will choose a hosting plan, connect your domain, access cPanel, install your application, and secure your site with a free SSL certificate. Follow the steps below to go from signup to a live site.
1

Choose a hosting plan

Visit the Starter plan order page to get started. The Starter plan is ideal for new sites and includes 1 website, 15 GB NVMe storage, free SSL, and daily backups. If you need more sites or storage, you can upgrade to Growth, Business, or Enterprise at any time.
2

Register or connect a domain

You can register a new domain through daphihost.com/domains during checkout, or point an existing domain to DaphiHost by updating your nameservers to the values provided in your welcome email. DNS changes usually take a few minutes to a few hours to propagate.
3

Log in to cPanel

Go to https://console.daphihost.com and sign in with your account credentials. From the client area, navigate to your active service and click the cPanel login link to access your control panel.
4

Install WordPress or upload files

For WordPress, open Softaculous in cPanel, select WordPress, and run the one-click installer. For custom sites, use the cPanel File Manager or connect via FTP/SFTP to upload your files directly. You can also deploy via Git or SSH if you prefer a developer workflow.
5

Activate your free SSL

In cPanel, go to the SSL/TLS section and enable your free Let’s Encrypt certificate. The certificate is issued automatically, covers your primary domain and www, and renews without manual action.
Yearly and biennial plans include a free domain for the first year. If you choose a monthly plan, you can still add a domain during checkout at standard registration prices.
