Moving your domain to DaphiHost is straightforward. Transfers are processed quickly with minimal downtime, and pricing matches standard registration rates.

Before You Transfer

Make sure your domain meets these prerequisites before starting the transfer:
  • The domain must be unlocked at your current registrar
  • You need the EPP/Authorization code from your current registrar
  • The domain must be older than 60 days (ICANN rule)
  • The domain must not expire within 15 days

Transfer Steps

1

Unlock your domain

Log in to your current registrar, find your domain settings, and disable the domain lock (also called registrar lock).
2

Get your authorization code

Request the EPP/Auth code (also called the transfer key) from your current registrar. This is required to authorize the move.
3

Start the transfer

Visit daphihost.com/domains, enter your domain name to begin the transfer, and enter the authorization code when prompted.
4

Approve the transfer

Check the email address registered to the domain for a transfer approval email, then click the confirmation link to approve.
5

Transfer completes

Transfers typically complete within 5-7 days once approved. You will receive a confirmation email when the process is finished.

Transfer Pricing

Transfer pricing matches the standard registration and renewal rate for each TLD. See the domain overview for full pricing details.
Transferring a domain usually adds one year to its current expiry date.
